Fees

What sessions cost, and what you get back

I'd rather you knew the numbers before you call. Here they are.

Session fee

A standard session of 50 minutes is $240. This is the same for child sessions, parent sessions and telehealth. Initial parent consultation: [Initial parent consultation: $240 / other, Holly to confirm]. Fees are payable on the day.

Medicare

With a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral from your GP, Medicare currently rebates $101.55 per session, leaving $138.45 out of pocket. A plan covers up to ten individual sessions in a calendar year, usually six to begin with and then more after a review with your GP. The rebate is the same for video sessions. I can process the rebate for you on the day so it usually lands in your account within a day or two.

NDIS

I see children whose NDIS plans are self-managed or plan-managed, and I bill within the current NDIS price limits for psychology. I provide progress reports for plan reviews.

Private health insurance

Many funds rebate psychology under extras cover. The amount varies a lot, so please check with your fund. Note that you can't claim both Medicare and private health for the same session.

Cancellations

[Holly's policy: e.g. 48 hours' notice; late cancellations charged at X]. Children get sick, and I understand that. Please just let me know as early as you can.
