What are your session fees?

A standard 50-minute session is $240.00. If you have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $98.95 per session.

For NDIS clients, session fees are charged in accordance with the current NDIS price guide.

Do I need a referral to claim a Medicare rebate?

Yes. To claim the Medicare rebate you need a referral, along with a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP), from your GP.

How many sessions does Medicare cover?

My current practice has a particular focus on supporting children aged 3–12, from the preschool years through to the end of primary school, however I am experienced in working with clients of all ages.

Is what I share in sessions confidential?

Yes. What you share in sessions is treated as confidential, and psychologists are bound by strict professional and legal obligations to protect your privacy. There are a small number of exceptions, such as when there is a serious risk of harm or when information is required by law or a court order. I will explain these limits to confidentiality clearly during your first session.
