About Holly

After completing a double degree in education and psychology at the University of Sydney, I spent over a decade working as a psychologist in schools. I worked with children and teens across preschool, primary, secondary, and inclusive education settings, alongside teachers and other educational support staff. In this role I provided support to children with developmental delay, neurodivergent young people, and children and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges.

While my current practice is focused on therapy and intervention, I also bring extensive experience in cognitive, adaptive, behavioural, and diagnostic assessment, including assessment for ADHD and autism in children. More recently, I worked with children in a multidisciplinary private practice for several years, alongside speech therapists and occupational therapists, providing collaborative and neurodiversity-affirming therapy and intervention to children and their families.

My approach

I utilise a range of therapeutic approaches in my work with children and parents, including psychoeducation, cognitive behaviour therapy, and parenting support. I bring warmth, understanding, and creativity to all aspects of my work and am committed to providing individualised support that considers each child's needs, strengths, and interests.

Parenting support

As a mum of two young children, I understand firsthand that parenting can bring joy and connection, but also uncertainty and challenges at times. I find working with parents and caregivers to be an incredibly rewarding aspect of my role in supporting children and I have pursued additional training in this area, including attaining accreditation as a facilitator of the Tuning in to Kids® parent emotion coaching program.
